2EE Seller Engine
Privacy policy
Effective and last updated: October 14, 2026
2nd Era Enterprises operates 2EE Seller Engine, a tool for inventory, photo identification, price research and listing preparation. This policy explains how we handle information in Seller Engine and its eBay notification receiver.
1. Who this policy covers
Seller Engine is currently used for 2nd Era Enterprises' own resale operations. This policy covers people using the tool, people contacting us about it, and eBay users whose information we receive through an authorized connection or account-deletion notice. It does not replace eBay's, Shopify's or another provider's own privacy policy. Features described as connected apply only when that connection is enabled and authorized.
2. Information we handle
- Sign-in information: the email address, application-specific user identifier and, when provided, display name supplied by ChatGPT sign-in.
- Item and business records: uploaded photographs, item descriptions, brands, models, condition, notes, storage locations, inventory identifiers, acquisition dates, costs, prices, recorded sales amounts, shipping, fees and listing status. We also store identification corrections you choose to save.
- Authorized eBay information: app credentials entered by the owner and, when seller access is connected, authorization credentials and the listing or inventory information permitted by that connection. We use only access granted for the enabled feature. An app-credential test alone does not connect a seller account.
- Deletion notifications: notification identifiers, dates and eBay account identifiers included in account-deletion notices, together with limited verification and processing records.
- Communications and technical information: messages sent to our support email and information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request times, requested pages, browser or device information, network information and errors. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational logs.
Seller Engine does not ask for your eBay password or payment-card details. Please do not include passwords, API secrets, shipping labels, faces, financial documents or unnecessary personal information in item photographs, notes or AI requests.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate access, save inventory and photographs, calculate costs and margins, identify items, research prices, prepare listings, apply saved identification corrections, and carry out actions you authorize on connected platforms. We also use it to support the service, troubleshoot failures, prevent misuse, protect accounts and respond to privacy and deletion requests. We limit eBay personal information to the specific permitted purpose for which it is needed.
4. AI-assisted features
When you request identification or research, selected photographs, item details, your hints and relevant saved corrections are sent to OpenAI for processing. Research can also use web search and public sources. Saved corrections provide context for later requests; they are not model training by 2EE. We do not use eBay content or eBay personal information to train AI models.
We do not intentionally send authentication secrets, buyer contact information or account-deletion notices to AI features. Service providers' own processing and retention terms also apply. AI results can be inaccurate; review them before using them in a listing or business decision.
5. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information is disclosed only as needed to:
- Operate the service: OpenAI provides ChatGPT sign-in, Sites hosting and AI processing; Cloudflare provides underlying hosting, storage and security services.
- Carry out a requested connection: eBay and any other platform you authorize receive information needed for the requested action. Preparing an item draft does not itself make it public; publishing to a marketplace makes the chosen listing content visible under that marketplace's settings and policies.
- Provide support or meet obligations: authorized service personnel and providers may access information to maintain the service, respond to a request, comply with a valid legal requirement or protect rights and security.
6. Storage and protection
We use HTTPS, restricted access and encrypted storage for stored eBay app secrets and queued deletion notices. Inventory, photographs and corrections are held in access-controlled application storage. These measures reduce risk, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information only as needed for its specific operational purpose, an authorized connection or a demonstrable legal obligation. Saved inventory, photographs and corrections do not currently expire on a fixed automatic schedule; contact us to request their removal when no longer needed. App credentials are retained while needed for the connection, until replaced or removed.
We promptly delete eBay personal information when requested by eBay or the person concerned, when it is no longer necessary for its permitted purpose, or when our eBay participation ends, subject only to a specific legal requirement that permits or requires retention. Retained legal records are limited to that purpose.
Deletion notices may be held in an encrypted queue while verification is pending. We verify a notice before acting on it; acceptance of delivery does not mean verification is complete. After successful processing, the queued notice is removed. Limited request and processing records may remain to prevent duplicate processing and document compliance. Acknowledging a notice is not permission to keep unrelated personal information.
8. Your choices and requests
You can choose whether to upload information or use AI features, export saved inventory details using the app's export control, and remove saved identification corrections using the app's controls. You can also contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of personal information, or removal of stored connection credentials. We may verify your identity using information reasonably needed for the request; we will not ask for your password or secret token.
You can revoke Seller Engine's eBay authorization through eBay's connected-application permissions when a seller connection exists. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not by itself erase information already stored in Seller Engine. Contact us for deletion. We handle requests promptly and within applicable legal and platform deadlines. Additional rights may apply depending on where you live.
9. Cookies, children and changes
Sign-in and hosting services may use cookies or similar session technologies needed for authentication, security and service delivery. Seller Engine does not add advertising trackers. The tool is intended for business use, not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe that has occurred.
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. We will provide additional notice and obtain permission where required before using information for a materially different purpose.
